Ram Raja Temple
This is the only temple in India where Rama is worshipped as a king and not as a God. Built as a palace, it was later converted to a temple when the temporarily installed idol of Rama in the palace proved impossible to move. Resplendent with delicate pink and coral domes, this beautiful temple is visited by thousands of devotees and tourists.

Chaturbhuj Temple
The lofty spires of this exquisite temple define the skyline of Orchha. Originally built to house the Rama idol now installed in Ram Raja Temple, this temple was later devoted to Lord Vishnu. It?s striking architecture and panoramic views from the top are a major allure for its many visitors.

Chhatris
Funerary monuments or cenotaphs of the Orchha royalty, the Chattris eulogize the glory of the Bundela rulers. Set on the banks of River Betwa, the Chhatris are best visited in the evenings when the orange-purple sunset on the river casts a glow on these ethereal structures.
