Bharat Mandir
This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In about 789 AD on the auspicious day of Basant Panchmi, Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya installed the presiding deity in the temple. Every year on this day, the deity is taken for a holy bath in the sacred Mayakund followed by a symbolic reinstallation ceremony.
