Mansa Devi Temple & Chandi Devi Temple
Mansa Devi, the wish fulfilling goddess, resides on a hilltop accessible by a steep climb or a cable car. You may combine this visit with another cable car up Neel Hill to Chandi Devi Temple, around 5 kilometer southeast of Haridwar.

Shanti Kunj

Food in Haridwar
This holy city has only vegetarian fare to offer, nonetheless the food is mouthwatering. Aloo Puri and piping hot jalebis & kachoris are simply delicious. Hot frothy milk served in earthenware pots is not to be missed in the winter chill.

Shopping In Haridwar
Be sure to take some holy water of the Ganges with you! Small shops near Har Ki Pauri sell sacred Rudraksha garlands, Ayurvedic products and elaborately carved riverside stones along with other knick knacks.

Haridwar is visited all around the year but the peak season is from February to April and then from July to November.
