Lake Pichola
Named after Picholi Village, Lake Pichola is the tourist hotspot in Udaipur. Dine in one of the eateries with the lake view or take a boat ride to catch a spectacular sunset on the lake.

Jag Mandir
Also known as the ‘Lake Garden Palace’, Jag Mandir was built around 1652 on an island on Lake Pichola. It is believe that Prince Khurram - later Emperor Shah Jahan- once took refuge here and this magnificent palace became an inspiration for him to build the Taj Mahal.

City Palace & Museum
Towering over Lake Pichola, the spectacular City Palace built by Maharana Udai Singh II consists of four major and several minor palaces. Its high balconies and cupolas offer a breathtaking view of the lake and the adjoining city. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum displaying royal artifacts.

Sajjangarh Palace aka Monsoon Palace
Dominating the skyline of Udaipur, high up on Bansdara Hill, stands this 19th-century Palace built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh. Originally planned as an astronomical center, it was later used as the royal monsoon palace & hunting lodge.

The Crystal Gallery
A dazzling experience, this gallery was commissioned by Maharaja Sajjan Singh in 1878. It exhibits furniture & artifacts created by F. & C. Osler, the leading English manufacturers of cut glass luxury objects in the Victorian era.

Saheliyon Ki Bari
Built by Maharana Sangram Singh II for the royal ladies; this garden of maidens with its beautiful fountains, lotus pools and marble sculptures; is a major tourist attraction.

Fateh Sagar Lake & Solar Observatory
This beautiful artificial lake, bordered by hills and woods, is not only a popular picnic spot & boat-ride attraction but also is home to Udaipur Solar Observatory.
